Humpty Dumpty’s Adventure Land

A bright, family-friendly website that helps parents plan visits with confidence

About the Project

Family Entertainment Website

01

Project Vision

Humpty Dumpty’s Adventure Land needed a website that felt as welcoming as the venue itself. With several attractions under one roof, parents needed clarity more than colour. The aim was to reflect the space’s fun and warmth while helping families quickly understand what’s available and what to do next.

Design & Experience

The site is built around speed and simplicity. From the homepage, parents are guided straight to the experiences that matter to them: soft play, sensory rooms, go-karts, parties, or the on-site nursery. Clear visual routes replace long explanations, making decisions easier.

Purpose & Impact

Beyond looking cheerful, the website reassures. It helps parents feel prepared when planning a visit, booking a party, or making an enquiry. Everything is clear, friendly, and easy to act on, just like the venue itself.

Indoor Experiences for Growing Families

Overview

Humpty Dumpty’s Adventure Land is a family entertainment venue offering a range of indoor activities for children of different ages. Alongside play areas and attractions, the business also operates The Railway Children’s Day Nursery as part of its wider offering.

Goals

The goal was to create a single, easy-to-use website that brings all attractions together under one brand. Parents needed a clear way to browse activities, check prices and opening times, and make enquiries without confusion.

Challenges

With multiple services aimed at different age groups, structure was critical. The nursery also required its own dedicated space, calm, reassuring, and appropriate for early years care, while still feeling connected to the Adventure Land experience.

Our Approach

Designing a Website Parents Can Understand Quickly

Parent-Led Navigation Design

The site was shaped around how parents think and search, making it easy to reach the right activity without scanning unnecessary information or guessing where to click next.

Clear Experience Separation

Each attraction was given its own clear space, helping families understand what’s available for different ages without confusion or overlap between services.

Fast Information Access

Key details like suitability, pricing, and next steps are visible quickly, reducing friction for parents planning visits during busy moments.

Playful Yet Controlled Visuals

Colour and imagery reflect fun and energy, while layouts stay calm and readable so information never feels chaotic or overwhelming.

Dedicated Nursery Experience

The nursery section was treated differently, using a quieter tone and layout to reflect care, learning, and trust while remaining connected to the wider brand.

Gentle Enquiry Guidance

Contact points appear naturally throughout the site, encouraging enquiries and bookings without pressure or urgency-driven language.
